Dear Patients and Staff:

I am writing to share news that an additional patient and an additional staff member have tested positive for COVID-19. The patient was already on transmission-based precautions prior to testing positive. The patient will remain at home until the CDC’s return to work have been met.

We continue to monitor all patients and staff closely for symptoms of the virus. We are following the most current infection control guidance from the Virginia Department of Health and the CDC. Visitation for patients located on the ART Unit remains temporarily suspended until the Center’s outbreak ends.
