COVID-19 Update: September 20th, 2021

Posted on:

Dear Patients and Families:

I am writing to share news that 3 additional patients and 3 additional staff members have tested positive for COVID-19. Both of these patients were already on transmission-based precautions prior to testing positive and have now been moved to the “hot unit”. All of the positive staff members will remain at home until the CDC’s return to work criteria have been met.

We will continue outbreak testing for patients and staff until the Center is 14 days without a positive test result. Visitation is temporarily suspended for all of the ART Unit with the exception of compassionate care visits.

The CDC has classified Washington County and the surrounding communities as high risk for transmission of COVID-19. We encourage everyone to follow the CDC’s recommendation of wearing a mask in public, indoor settings.

As always, please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Sincerely,

Stacy Taylor, RN, BSN, LNHA
