Dear Patients and Families:

I am writing to share news that an additional staff member has tested positive for COVID-19. This individual is symptomatic and will remain at home until the CDC’s return to work criteria have been met.

As clarification, three patients and one staff member that were reported last week as positive based on rapid test results have now received negative PCR confirmatory test results. This is very good news. For this reason, visitation may now resume for patients located on Martha’s Ridge and Highlands Units beginning August 24, 2021. Visitation will remain temporarily suspended for patients of the Art Unit.
