Mitigation Efforts:

If a staff member tests positive for COVID-19, that individual will remain off from work until the CDC’s return to work criteria is met. All staff members are screened upon entry to the Center prior to beginning work. COVID-19 vaccination is required for staff members.

Patients who test positive for COVID-19 are relocated to the “hot unit” unless otherwise directed by the local Health Department. All patients are monitored closely for symptoms of the COVID-19 virus and vaccination is available for all patients.

The Center cohorts positive patients and staff in accordance with CDC recommendations. Visitation may be temporarily limited when the Center is in an outbreak at the direction of the local Health Department.

The Center’s supply of PPE is adequate. Staff have received education on appropriate PPE utilization.

Testing:

COVID-19 testing is conducted according to CMS and CDC guidelines. Patients and staff may be tested as needed based on symptoms, exposure, or during an outbreak. If contact tracing is able to be conducted, only individuals who were close contacts of a positive patient or staff member will be tested.

Visitation:

Virtual, indoor and outdoor visitation are all currently available. Visiting hours are 8 am to 5 pm, although visitation is available at all times.
